Treisen to Rohrspitz (bicycle)
Three countries in one day!
Nice early start, great views as left the alps cycling down the Rhine bank (Rheindamm as known locally) a quick day and we noted it started to really get hot fast and by the time we managed the campsite it was almost too hot. Christine wasn't a fan of it and the 10 foot square pitch along side 7 others in a grid was almost a joke. No shade at all and the tent was almost unbearable. Met a nice Dutch couple with amazing bike pannier extensions and camp chairs I will have to keep a look out for.
Ate in the campsite restaurant at lunch time then worked out later that same food in the cafe was 20% cheaper! When cool we went for a walk and paddled in the Bodensee (Lake Constance) and listened to the frogs in the reeds (all night long!) Not a single radio contact.
