Stork nest on top of the tower.
As we left Basel we stopped and had a coffee next door to this place that had nothing but elephants in the front window.
Bit later as was getting hotter we stopped where the river had widdened at some steps that also had the river depth marked along side them.
We went down to the water and paddled our feet in it. The tiny small fry seemed to find things to eat off my feet!
We tried to call home but this whole section no internet or phone networking.
The route crossed from Germany back into Switzerland and back again and at the end of the day we crossed the river where there was a hydro electric station to stay at a campsite.
Some interesting other campers one guy grumbled a lot, another was taking a break from family (son had broken his fingers) and was cycling to Frieberg.
On the river saw some greeblings (small Grebes) otherwsie the route was retty empty of living things.
