We roughed it last night.
There has been a house on the site since 1371.
The winds had an effect on the fields... just one sunflower left!
Nice views across the river flood plain, it is strewn with wind blown debree.
Trees down everywhere.
2 ferry trips today.
1st one guy had a trailer with a dog in it!
Peddled towards Arnhem and 'that' bridge.
Opportunity like this I just had to operate wit the brdge in the background. 1st contact with Sweden... no second contact!
Peddled across the bridge and had omlettes in a cafe.
Just another temptation.... but this was for Christine's work collegues.
Bit of route finding issue but couple nice out door shop people from Brand Store on Koningstraat helped us out and advised where to find the route and a shop that had the camp seats I wanted...
We ended up not finding the campsite, probably due to storm taking a sign out but found a B&B instead.
16th July ended on 760.30 miles.
