Walk to the beach
Well we never managed a Rotterdam sign photo but this is Hoek van Holland beach.
It is damned cold water!

We did it.... and had a dip in the North Sea too!
Up late today (8am ish), breakfast and then off down to the beach for a dip. Then back and packed up... recommend the camptsite as really laid back about later departures of cyclists and allow shower etc access ubtil after 12:00 that helps a lot. As wasn't carrying anything foodish home milky coffee at site and then off to the ferry.
Dom panicced a bit about place to stay when arrived in UK as 8pm ship arrival and long way to get home still but fixed on trip and booked into Premier Inn.
As we pushed the bikes onto the ferry the mileage said 869.27 miles. (For us this is a wow!)
Two campsight birs actually. The one in the tent had a pink beak!
