This was our second day at this campsite. We got up so late almost missed bread etc from the cafe. We stayed in the campsite and played radio, swam in a pool and chilled out.
Took a long time over lunch.
Got the rear dynamo working and hand cranked the battery charging for a bit.
After observing us for a while an old guy travelling by himself in an RV suddenly came up to Christine and offered us a couple of fold away chairs for the day. We bought him a beer.
It was the World cup final Spain vs Holland and the campsite had loads of Dutch licence plates and the cafe that night was a sea of Orange. With one Spanish flag!
We learnt that yesterday the temperature in Koblenz was 39.4 degrees... no wonder Christine sat in the Rhine!
