Up slowly and collected breakfast on the way out and sat by the water front. We arrived at Koblenz about 10:30am....

Had a coffee in some place that had been a coffee shop/icecream parlour since 1934.

We bought our tickets for a ferry down the Rhine a bit and had lunch in an italian, sat outside but the winds got up and threw dust everywhere so they moved us inside.

After lunch we caught the ferry to take us 20 miles down the Rhine.

The campsite was fine but the ground was rock hard, the local pitches all had cyclists on and a couple of rocks and brick were passed along to use to hammer pegs in.

Dom fell asleep and snored!
